Padding
Glue is applied to one or more edges of the paper, holding them together. Often used for deskpads, notepads and even with compliments slips.
Ring Binding
Ring binding options are available for 3, 4 or 5 ring binders. Most popular where sheets have to be able to be taken out or replaced from a publication. Most popular with training companies.
Saddle Stitching
A fast and cost effective way to bind booklets. The flat printed sheet goes through the folder, then the pages are collated and then stitching occurs along the spine, secured by 2 metal staples.
Perfect & Burst Binding
Single Pages are collated into book blocks, hot melt glue is applied along the spine and a soft cover is drawn on, which is usually thicker than the text. The primary difference between burst binding and perfect binding is the number of pages. Generally burst binding is for 80 or more pages.
